Lingnan University Non-local Student Scholarships

Lingnan University offers various scholarships to support high-calibre non-local students to pursue full-time UGC-funded (Government-funded) undergraduate studies at the University.  Successful applicants will be awarded one of the following scholarships:

  • Full Scholarship (covering tuition, hostel and partial academic and living expenses)
  • Half Scholarship
  • Full-tuition Scholarship
  • Half-tuition Scholarship

The Lingnan University Non-local Student Scholarships will be awarded subject to availability, successful applicants in Early Round will be notified from January. As such, applicants are encouraged to make their applications as early as possible.

Applicants for self-financed undergraduate programmes are not eligible for scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

  • Applicants must be international students
  • Applicants for undergraduate studies
  • Applicants must be ready for full-time program
  • Applicants must have proof of English Language proficiency.
  • Applicants who has good academic standing and a good track record in community services

 

Application Guidelines: 

To apply for admission to UGC-funded (Government-funded) undergraduate programmes, Please apply via Online Admission System by creating ONE application account and submitting online applications.  Please select “Self-financed Programmes” in the “Application Type” section.

There is no limit on number of programme choice(s) for application for admission to self-financed undergraduate programmes.  Applicants can apply for both UGC-funded and self-financed undergraduate programmes at the same time in ONE application account.
