RESULTS Organizing and Advocacy Fellowship 2024

Join RESULTS to meet Congress in person in DC!

The RESULTS Fellowship seeks to inspire and train advocates in the movement to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty.

The Fellowship helps young leaders find their voice

Every year, a cohort of activists ages 20-35 comes together to form the RESULTS Fellowship. These young leaders spend 11 months growing their advocacy skills to end poverty and oppression. Fellows meet with lawmakers, work with the media, and engage with their communities to effect change. Young advocates with lived experience of poverty are especially encouraged to apply. (The application for the 2024 cohort is now OPEN! The application window will last through October 31, 2023.)

Now accepting Fellowship applications!

The application window for the 2024 Fellowship cohort is now open! We will accept applications from now through October 31, 2023. Our application guide contains more details and an FAQ. We hope you will become part of our powerful cohort of activists!

The RESULTS Fellowship is a transformational experience.

We are so proud of all the unique ways RESULTS Fellows have influenced a larger movement against poverty and oppression. Fellows learn together about the roots of systemic poverty and oppression, building this knowledge into an activist skillset that propels them forward as lifelong advocates. Fellowship Alumni have gone on to work at the World Bank, engaged with presidential candidates on the campaign trail, founded their own nonprofit organizations, and have been featured in publications like NPR and the New York Times

RESULTS Fellows at-a-glance:

  • Have a passion for creating change and a commitment to anti-oppression
  • Ability to commit 3-6 hours per week and join bi-monthly Fellowship Webinars, local group meetings, and the monthly RESULTS National Webinar
  • Age 20-35 at the start of the Fellowship
  • Plans to live in the United States from January to November 2024
  • Experience in community activism, school activism, political campaigns, or other anti-poverty or social justice-focused activities is preferred but not required.

The roots of poverty and systemic oppression are inextricably linked. Our movement seeks to be representative of voices from people of all backgrounds, people who are currently experiencing poverty, or people from communities who historically have been marginalized by oppression.
