WEDU Introduction To Leadership (ITL) Online Course

To be a great leader, you need to start by leading yourself.

Wedu's Introduction to Leadership (ITL) is designed precisely for this purpose. ITL offers changemakers an opportunity to gain clarity on their priorities, map out their vision for life, and set goals aligned with their leadership and changemaking ambitions.

The Introduction to Leadership (ITL) course is an eight-week long, self-paced free online course through which emerging women leaders complete a series of exercises that help them focus on their leadership development objectives and reflect on their personal and professional goals.

ELIGIBILITY

The Introduction to Leadership (ITL) course is open to all nationalities. Anyone who identifies as a woman, is over 18 years old, and has leadership and changemaking ambitions is welcome to register.

COURSE CONTENT

Throughout the 8 weeks, ITL course participants will have access to reflective exercises anchored on our bespoke leadership model. They will also have the opportunity to connect and network with other coursetakers from around the world. By the end of the course, participants will develop at least two SMART goals aimed towards their leadership development.

Lessons include:

•  Defining Your Leadership Purpose
•  Goal Setting
•  Self-Management Skills

COURSE STRUCTURE

Here are what you can expect from the course: 

Self-paced: Allocate hours per week over 8 weeks (approximately 16 hours in total)

Self-reflective: There are no lectures in the course. You will be introduced to Wedu’s Leadership Dimensions in a series of self-reflective exercises.

Exercises: You have to complete 11 exercises (8 mandatory and 3 optional exercises.)

Language: English

Format: Online

Time Commitment: Approx. 2 hrs per week (16 hrs over 8 weeks)
