The Hague Academy OKP & MENA Scholarships (Fully funded in the Netherlands)

The Hague Academy for Local Governance is pleased to announce that interested candidates can now apply for an Orange Knowledge Scholarship (OKP) or a MENA Scholarship (MSP) to attend our two-week courses in the first half of 2024! The academy's practice-oriented training programmes are designed for professionals involved in inclusive and sustainable development at the local level.

Both Orange Knowledge Scholarship Program (OKP) and Mena Scholarship Program (MSP) are funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic.

  7. Migration & Local Governance (26 June - 9 July 2024)

Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP)

Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Vietnam and Yemen.

MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP)

Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Sudan and Tunisia.

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • You are a national of, and working in any of the participating countries on the OKP and MENA listed above.
  • You are not employed by an organisation that has its own means of staff development. E.g. international development organisations or private companies;
  • You have a minimum of two years of work experience;
  • You speak and understand the English language well (all programmes are in English);
  • You have written support from your employer to participate in the programme and to implement the Back Home Action Plan.
  • You are working in one of the priority areas matching the country focus in your country.
  • There is no age limit for this program.

    Eligible candidates who submit their application before the early-bird deadline will benefit from our assessment and, if needed, will receive feedback to improve their application.
