Are you passionate about reshaping the future of education in rural communities? Do you have a heart for working with children and igniting their potential?

The Green Educators Fellowship invites you to join our mission. The Fellowship is organized by    The Green Institute (TGI) which believes that every child, irrespective of their socio-economic background, deserves quality education that can pave the way to a brighter future.

ELIGIBILITY:

Early Childhood Educators: Professionals who specialize in play methods, creative teaching, and child-centered pedagogies.

Nursery and Primary Educators: Individuals dedicated to building a strong foundational knowledge for kids, with a flair for innovative teaching methodologies.

Secondary School Educators (STEM-focused): Passionate educators who can bring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to life for young teenagers.

Fellowship Duration: 1 year

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

  • Individuals under 35.

  • Recent graduates with a drive to make a difference.

  • Educators who resonate with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal #4: Quality Education.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • Candidates must be prepared to showcase their leadership potential. This will be evaluated through three essays where you will:

  • Describe your personal achievements over the years.

  • Share your volunteer and professional experiences.

  • Detail your long-term goals and motivations for joining the fellowship.

TGI recommends employing the STAR approach (Situation, Task, Action, and Result) to structure your essays. Reflect on your past experiences, and don't rush; think deeply, write honestly, and proofread diligently.

She is an alumnus of a number of international fellowships and youth leadership programs. Ako is passionate about Lifelong Learning, Capacity Building and Positive Social Impact.
