Join the IACET Council for Standards Development

Are you passionate about advancing the quality of continuing education and training (CE/T)? Do you have an eye for detail, a passion for standards, and a desire to help influence the future of the field?

The IACET Nominations and Elections Committee is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill three (3) open volunteer positions on the IACET Council for Standards Development (ICSD). Applications will be accepted until June 8, 2026, at 9:00AM ET.

Why Serve?

Serving on the ICSD offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally while helping guide the future of CE/T. Council members gain valuable insight into industry trends and best practices, deepen their understanding of the ANSI standards development process, and collaborate with fellow professionals dedicated to advancing quality through standards.

Please note that service on the ICSD is a voluntary, unpaid leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in monthly virtual meetings and attendance at one annual in-person meeting
• Serve a 3-year term
• Monitor and guide the standards development process
• Ensure alignment with ANSI Essential Requirements

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Be committed to the advancement of CE/T through standards development
• Demonstrate knowledge of, or interest in, ANSI’s Essential Requirements
• Complete IACET required training for ICSD members
• Adhere to IACET’s policies and procedures

How to Apply and Nomination Deadline:

Nominations must be self-submitted. Interested candidates are required to complete the nomination form and submit all required documentation, including the video submission, by the deadline, on June 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM ET.
